Tim Murdock, ChFC

Tim Murdock is the senior partner of Murdock Banner Financial Group. Tim`s education includes a bachelor`s degree in sociology from Central Missouri State University. After graduation Tim went to work for Dun & Brad Street, in the marketing department, he then returned to Warrensburg, Missouri to start his own business in 1973. He received his professional designation from the American College, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania as a Chartered Financial Consultant. In addition he`s a participant of the PACE (Professional Achievement in Continuing Education) through the Society of Financial Service Professionals. Tim holds membership in the Society of Financial Professionals and Financial Planning Association. He is also a member of the Warrensburg Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, First Methodist Church, and chaired the local American Red Cross Chapter and Johnson County United Way. Tim has served as President of the Central Missouri State University Alumni Board. Tim also serves as a member of the Managing Director`s for Prosperity Advisory Group. Tim is a registered securities representative of Multi-Financial Securities Corporation, and a licensed insurance agent.

Mark Banner, CFP, ChFC

Mark Banner is a partner of Murdock Banner Financial Group. Mark`s education includes a bachelor`s degree in Family Financial Planning and Counseling, from Brigham Young University. He started his professional career by working 9 1/2 years in Ohio, for a regional financial planning firm that specialized in retirement planning. After four years as an analyst, he was promoted to Associate Planner and began working directly with clients. While there, he also received his Certified Financial Planner designation from the College for Financial Planning, Denver, Colorado and his Charted Financial Consultant Designation from the American College, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. In May of 1994 he moved to Warrensburg, Missouri where he could begin to develop a clientele of his own. Mark continues to specialize in retirement planning as well as estate planning, tax planning, investments and risk management. Mark holds memberships in the Financial Planning Association, Warrensburg Early Bird Rotary Club, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. He has also chaired CLIMB, a local leadership development program. Mark is a registered securities representative of Multi-Financial Securities Corporation, and a licensed insurance agent.

Craig Coen

Craig Coen serves as an analyst for Murdock Banner Financial Group. Craig’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Missouri. Subsequently, he also earned an MBA concentrating in finance from the University of Central Missouri. In addition, he has completed coursework for the Certified Financial Planner designation via the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While in college he started his career in the financial services industry with US Bank and served in various retail banking positions including Credit Analyst and Branch Manager. In 2001, he became a registered Financial Advisor with US Bank Investments and Insurance division serving central Missouri with a clientele primarily in Sedalia and Clinton. After concluding 13 years of service with US Bank, he joined Murdock Banner Financial Group in 2011. In conjunction with his role as analyst, he continues his financial advising role by working with clients to develop financial strategies that are tailored to their unique situations. Craig serves on the board of directors for Child Safe of Central Missouri. He resides in Sedalia with his son. Craig is a registered representative of Multi-Financial Securities Corporation and a licensed insurance agent.

Sadie Boone

Sadie Boone - She is responsible for the control and processing of client accounts and for administering client service needs. She joined Murdock Banner Financial Group in January 1997 as a Service Assistant. Sadie has received her Bachelor`s Degree from the University of Colorado and then worked for Sierra Health and Life Insurance Company as an administrative assistant for three years. She was responsible for setting up new group insurance and processing applications. Sadie then worked as a Supervising Marketing Consultant for two and a half years for Prudential Brokerage in Long Beach, California. Sadie supervised the service department, processed insurance business for the top producing agent in the nation, set up meetings and seminars, and provided customer service to life insurance brokers that fell under her agents jurisdiction. Sadie is also a registered securities representative of Multi-Financial Securities Corporation.

Dana Straka

Dana Phelps Straka, Communications Director. As director of Communications at Murdock Banner Financial Group Dana oversees all marketing, public relations, special events and client relations. She is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri and holds a bachelor's degree in Public Relations. Dana has experience with American Family Insurance and has been with Murdock Banner Financial Group since May of 2007.

Janet Pierce

Janet, Administrative Assistant, is responsible for appointment scheduling for the partners and associates, maintaining client communication and data base records, processing life insurance applications, monitoring licensing and continuing education requirements for the group, and producing market reports. Janet studied general business & office practice at State Fair Community College and finance related courses at community colleges in CA and NV. She has over 25 years experience in mortgage finance and office administration. Janet has been with Murdock Banner Financial Group since August of 2011.
